ESSAY

“AN AMAZING TRIP”

It was an unexpected day because I remembered that my husband even told me about the trip until, the day we were supposed to go so, I was very surprised, he just took me to his friends´ house and, when we got there I felt so uncomfortable because, I did not know them I felt like a fish out of the water, until I started to talk to them and see that we were on the same wavelength, also I asked them if they needed blankets or jackets,. We waited like an hour to go because something always was missing.

Finally when we were ready to go we put everything on the truck the bags, food, beers, chips, blankets but how the truck was petite and we were eight people, the haft of us had to go in the back and the others in the front. I decided to go in the back with my husband, and I sat in the middle of the truck and where the air was not to strong, but anyways I decided top ut two jackets and cover myself with a blanket. When we were on the road I just looked at the cars passing next to us and leaving a very strong air, the others guys just covered their faces with their jackets and they even could opened their eyes because of the air. Sometimes I felt how all my hair flew because of it.  The road was very dark where there were not cars just the moon could light us and in some moment of the road we had to stop because we were lost, how the road was very dark and it was the first time for all of us that we went to the cabins in that moment I just felt how all my body was shaking because of the nervous, I was like at wits´ end because of that.

When we called the owner of the cabins to tell him what was our situation, he came for us and I felt like takes a load of somebody´s mind, I was very excited when we arrived to the cabins, first because my legs were sleeping already so I was available to move them and second because nothing bad had happened to us. My husband carried me to get out of the truck but I was not available to see how was the cabins and anything else, it make me felt chills in all  my body, I just heard how the air moved the trees, and the sound of the insects, as soon as, I could I get into the cabins and I realized that all the furniture was made of wood like a rustic house, also with a fireplace in the livingroom.

The next day the sun rays get into the window made me get up and, I went out of the cabins where was the verandah, and I started to feel how the sun rays warmed my body, and my eyes were impressed because of the view that I had, I saw how the sun raise behind the mountains the different colors that were on the sky, although it was very early, it was not too fresh how it was the night before. I started walking and I turned around and I saw the image of “Cristo Roto” in front of me , it was amazing how near we were of it, I walked a little more and I saw the people, the stores, the tittle town everything miniature, also I could see how is the shape of the lake, also not too far from where I was I could see some cows trying to look for food just walking around.

Although it was a new experience for me, I really like it and, enjoyed it a lot, things that my eyes never looked before were very surprised. I felt like if I were in another place because you do not hear the noise of the cars or you do not breath the pollution of the factories and the cars. Going to the cabins make you felt relaxed and forget about everything and enjoy the view and better if it is with the people that you love. I definitely if I have the opportunity to go again I will go.
